PSA – Black Friday Indie Makeup Sales!

I feel like one of the many things we miss out on in New Zealand is Thanksgiving, and of course the Black Friday sales that go with it. Here are a few online indie makeup stores having Black Friday sales…the good thing about them being web-based is I don’t have to miss out! 😉

Smelly Yeti Perfumerie – http://smellyyeti.com/

Smelly Yeti make fabulous perfumes, including a Buffy-inspired collection. Keep an eye out during Black Friday for The Hellmouth Collection 2, and more new fragrances! They are offering discounts of 10-20% off, and now they have stickers and mini-pipettes too. I love Smelly Yeti’s sense of humour and fun, they don’t take themselves too seriously.

Kae Q – https://www.etsy.com/nz/shop/KaeQ

KaeQ are having a re-opening sale for Black Friday weekend! Use code REDDITBF for 15% off. They sell gorgeous natural products that sound absolutely divine. Can’t wait to see what they have to offer in their relaunch.

Mad Lab – https://www.etsy.com/nz/shop/MadLabCosmetics

Mad Lab creates science-themed eyeshadows … sounds unusual but it works! My personal favourites right now are Copper and Admiralty Brass, very pretty. Who said science had to be boring? They are offering 20% off your entire order, plus GWP on orders $20+ and $40+with code WORTHIT.

Midsummer Dreams Apothecary – https://www.facebook.com/pages/Midsummer-Dreams-Apothecary/1445856175643696

Midsummer Dreams make gorgeous indie perfumes, and perfume jewellery! These are so beautiful and would make great gifts – I highly recommend doing some Christmas shopping here. With 25% off on Black Friday, and 10% plus free gift on Cyber Monday, you can’t go wrong!

Not enough sale for ya? Have a read of the 2014 Black Friday Sales list here!

In the interests of full disclosure, I haven’t yet purchased from any of the sellers mentioned, they are simply lovely ladies I have met through Reddit’s Indie Makeup and More group. I think they all have a nice range of products, and to the best of my knowledge offer good customer service – I will never promote brands that I know don’t have good ethics!

Have you purchased from these shops? What are you buying in the Black Friday sales? Let me know! 🙂
